About Me

Hi! I'm Nic, from Florida, United States.

After graduating high school, I studied at a university in Florida, where I recieved my bachelor's degree in English Composition and Literature, with minor studies in European Art History and Asian Culture.

During my 3rd year of college, on the recommendation of a friend, I studied abroad in Tokyo for a short time. However, only a few months after arriving, I was sent home by the worldwide onset of COVID-19... but after graduating, and much consideration, I decided to return to Tokyo to begin my journey of learning Japanese for real! After about 1.5 years of studying at Japanese language school, I considered entering higher education in Japan, and turning towards my passion of game design, soon after enrolled in TECH.C.

Choosing to come to Tokyo has been a very difficult but undoubtedly rewarding choice. I've made many precious connections, had experiences I never could have gotten staying in America, and as far as I can judge right now, has been the right choice; and I will continue to do my best to keep it that way.

僕はニコラス、アメリカのフロリダ州生まれ育ちです。

高校を卒業した後、フロリダ州での大学に進学し、英文学と作文の学士号を取得し、ヨーロッパ美術史とアジア文化を副専攻しました。

大学3年生の時、友人の勧めで東京に留学しました。しかし、到着して数月後、COVID-19の流行により帰れさせました…　しかし、大学から卒業した後、よく考えて東京に戻って日本語を勉強することを決着しました！ 日本語学校で一年半ぐらいで勉強した後、専門学校に入ろうと考え浮かべました。長い年ぶりのパッションを考えて、ゲームプランナーとしての経験を集めてと思ってTECH.Cに入りました。

東京に来て住むという選択は、試練と呼べるものです。ですが、試練は成長させるものです。苦しい時があっても、育った場所で得られない大切な人間関係と経験は得ることができました。 「この選択は正しい」ということは胸を張って言えます。そして、ずっと言えるように頑張って見せます。
